Helpful Hints

After making a decision for Christ, one of the most important things you can do is get connected in a local church.  Wave Church is a great church with a passion for helping people walk in their God-given destiny.  Psalm 92:13 says, “They that are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish…”

· Pray (talk to God) whenever you can!

· Read your Bible as much as possible.

· Get “planted” - Begin to build healthy relationships by committing to the 3 C’s of Wave Church:

o Congregation – Sunday Morning

o Celebration – Sunday Morning

o Cell - Mid-week activity

· Do not be surprised if you encounter some turbulence. In John 16:33 Jesus says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” No matter what you are facing right now, you can hold on to God's word for your hope. Matthew 19:26 Jesus reminds us, "…with God all things are possible."

· Understand that God is FOR you and NOT mad at you.  He is a good God and it is His kindness that leads men to repentance.  God wants you to do life well!

· If you make a mistake, don’t try to cover it up …confess it.  1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

· Being a Christian is not a destination; rather, it’s the beginning of a great adventure with God!
