Introduction

In January 1999, my wife, Sharon and I came to America with a distinct calling to pastor a church in the Hampton Roads area. Our desire was to build relationships with friends of like faith and spirit in America and all over the world so that “Iron would sharpen iron” and the gospel would be spread to the four corners of the earth.

My intention for the first couple of years was to get settled in Virginia Beach and focus primarily on the church here. To my surprise, God’s time frame was not only to do that, but to begin immediately relating to and cooperating with churches around the United States and the world. As a result, we hosted our first Networking Summit the same year as my arrival in 1999. Since then, the amount of interest expressed by pastors and churches to identify with Wave Network has increased dramatically.

Brief History

I spent eight years, prior to coming to the States, in Hills Christian Life Center, now known as the Hillsong Church. I came on staff as the Hillsong College Executive Director and became the Associate Pastor. I had the wonderful privilege of working under Brian Houston, who has a supernatural gift of leadership on his life. I was his Associate Pastor, involved in implementing ministries of the church, financial management, training/developing of lay leaders, and staff training. I was also the superintendent for Sydney North A/G churches; in which my responsibilities included overseeing 60 plus churches. Hillsong also had a network of churches called Nation Builders; a network of churches around the world that linked arms together through its mission’s program. Since then, Nation Builders has become the Hillsong Church’s mission’s program.

We want to welcome you to our Network. We believe God will do great things through the power of relationships and friendships. We are committed to your success and prosperity and want to do everything we can to help further the Kingdom of God.

Who Can Join?

There are two main groups in Wave Network. Pastors who have joined the Network and those pastors who simply want to have fellowship with the Network.
The first group is classified as Network Partners the second group will be classified as Friends of the Network.

A Network Partner is a pastor that wants to identify with Wave Network as a significant resource for counsel and prayer support. We will provide a Certificate of Affiliation and an ordination (if requested and forms filled out) of the Senior Pastors.

A Network Friend is a pastor who wants to be in a voluntary relationship with Wave Network. These are pastors who do not seek ordination at this time from Wave Network, but want to avail themselves the benefits of having a contact at some level with the Network.

We are able to offer Wave Network Partners and Friends access to Wave Network staff and whatever support and wisdom we can offer.

Our aim is to introduce pastors of like faith and vision to one another. We are not seeking to build this network into something that is large and controlling, we are looking for people who want to voluntarily enter into fellowship with Wave Network and its vision.

In an effort to provide a practical model of a large and growing church, Partners of Wave Network will have access to all Wave Church Departments, including:
Conferences, Budgets, Bible College, Youth, Children’s Ministries, Men’s Ministries, Hampton Roads Community Care, Worship and Arts, etc.

The annual fee to be a Partner is .05% of the church’s tithe (Tithe only). The annual fee for the Friends of the Network is $300.00. Upon completion of your application we will send you the following audio CD’s as a complimentary gift. These CD’s are the theme of Pastor Steve Kelly’s life messages that mold Wave Church
